Some strange emotions arise when you’re doing Bikram yoga regularly. For instance, some days I start feeling really angry and frustrated during the first breathing exercise and other days I feel anxious and overwhelmed in camel pose near the end. Above all, my favourite pose is the spinal twist, mainly because it’s the last pose but I also enjoy the stretch I get in each vertebrae.
Does anyone know why I feel such odd emotions in certain positions on certain days? I thought yoga was supposed to be peaceful!
