So it rained on Saturday. Which was exactly what I wanted for our engagement shoot. We needed to be more than kinda damp and frizzy-haired. We needed soaking wet. And that’s just what we got in Elora!
My original idea was to find the abandoned Kiddie Kar Factory along one of the hiking trails, but after assessing the amount of equipment we needed to carry and calculating the potential hiking time, we nixed the idea.
Instead, we walked around the town (think Main St. in Unionville, but more), stopped by another abandoned mill, and went into the gorge. Like INTO the gorge. The water was friiigiiiiid. And let me tell you, it’s hard to find clothes that will look nice in photos, but are also okay in the mud.
I wanted something edgier than frolicking in the fields and flowers. E and Chris were down with the idea, so off we went. I’ve only seen a few of the shots so far, but what I’ve seen, I love, except for my weird facial expressions. It looks like I either want to kill E, or I’m always saying, “a-huuurrrrr”
Also, huge huge huge thanks to Chris and Kevin for coming that day. They got way more soaked than we did and everyone handled the chilly discomfort like a champ!
“a-huurrrrr!!!”
Some say that some of the photos are too scandalous for parental eyes. What do you think? More amazing photos on Chris’ blog!
