Run Dayna run

Sorry for the delay in updating this blog but I’m back now with a new (and terrifying) fitness goal for myself. I plan to run a marathon, and not just any marathon this marathon with Joints in Motion in HAWAII. I’ll be honest, I have no idea what is involved in training for a marathon and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to afford this one specifically but I’ve committed enough to post it on this blog and get the ball rolling.

Anyone have any advice for me?

Also, please share your fitness/health goals for 2011 in the comments section and we’ll support each other! It definitely helps to have a network of people rooting for you (and I need all the help I can get!).

    I think this is a fabulous goal AND I think a fundraiser or two should be able to help you get to the Hawaii race. I feel a bake sale coming on…

    (Mmm bake sale) What about a fundraising show/concert, would be more appropriate for a fitness goal and would bring in a larger crowd. Fire dancers, some fabulous singers & performers etc.
