We’re talking knitting, sewing, cooking, baking etc. are these skills dying amongst our younger generation? Or are these artforms making a comeback, considering they’re not only budget-friendly but environmentally-friendly too?

I think they’re making a comeback and I’m so glad – I love being crafty. With sites like Etsy so popular, I think teens and 20somethings want to do it themselves and make something unique rather than pay for an item that’s generic and everyone has! My friend owns a sewing studio and the teen/20something group makes up a huge part of her clientele, and at my office – where everyone’s in their 20s, somebody’s baking cupcakes or cookies every week! And you’re right, it’s budget-friendly and eco-conscious, not to mention a huge stress reliever!
