Speak up: What defines Generation Y?

Opinion

Generation Y is generally anyone born between the late-1970’s to early-1990’s. But what is this demographics most defining characteristics? Are we ‶privileged, coddled, over-educated idealists″ like this article published in Toronto Life suggests or something else entirely?

    am i a privileged, coddled, over-educated idealist?

    probably.

however, because i am aware of my status, i can try and use it for good instead of evil. thankfully i am an idealist so i still think that radical social change is possible if we would all put our privilege to work for the masses rather than just ourselves.
