Bedbugs are an epedemic in Toronto and many other cities in North america and they are hard to detect because of their size and even harder to kill once they have spread through your home. I would steer clear of any linnens you cannot put through the dryer like they said avove, or if you buy something, try drying it twice on high heat before using it or even taking it out of the bag when you get home, this is actually enough to kill most bedbugs depending on your dryer..

Cockroaches are still around as well and love to hide in electronics like bread makers so maybe leave your purchase in the garage for a few months before bringing it inside or open the machines side panel to be sure there aren&#039;t any creepy crawlers.
